Today Class 2 made paper fan butterflies! This art activity represents the arrival of spring and the beauty of embracing change. As the winter season fades, we transition into the warmer months of the year where we experience the vibrant colours of spring and summer! To get started on this fun little spring project, we each got a folded fan shaped butterfly. We then gathered paint and brushes for sharing in from of each other. Once everything was prepared we dipped our paint brushes in water to create a water painting effect on our butterflies. This was great as we were taught a different technique in painting and blending in colours! Furthermore, our fine motor skills were used as we focused on grasping onto the paint brushes and painted our butterflies. Overall, we had a great time working together to make our paper fanned butterflies!
