Class 5- Story telling

Class 5 had a special story teller today. One of our friends volunteered to tell her version of the story of Dumbo and Angelina to the class. She sat in a special chair, held the book in her hands and made sure that everyone had a great view of the pictures in the book while she read to them. Her version of the story was based on her interpretation of the pictures in the book. The friends really liked our volunteer's story and were very happy doing a great job with their listening ears. It was also a very interactive story-telling as our volunteer asked the friends to guess what will happen next and then why it happened. She would ask her questions and her friends all did a wonderful job raising their hands if they wanted to answer instead of just speaking out. It was a great way of respecting each other's turns and feelings to be able to share their ideas and comments. Wonderful job, Class 5!
