Class 3 has been working on 24-piece puzzles, individually. Puzzles are great activities to enhance many skills. Hand eye coordination skills are developed as we work with our hands, eyes, and brains relate. Fine motor skills are developed as well as we carefully hold on to each puzzle. We can also build our shape recognition and memory as we try to remember which pieces of puzzles fit together. Lastly, problem solving skills are developed as we think of strategies and use critical thinking in completing puzzles.
Once we master completing our own 24 piece puzzle, we're ready to move on to our 48 piece puzzle.
Elect 1.5 interacting positively and respectfully, 2.3 self esteem, 4.2 problem solving, 4.6 collecting and organizing information, 5.3 fine motor
