Class 4 - Dinosaur Masks

This morning we started off our day in the art room sponge painting dinosaur masks.  We have quite a few friends that absolutely adore anything involving these prehistoric reptiles; so we were more than willing to get right to work.
First step to this project was to identify the dinosaurs that we were painting. Lucky for us, we had one friend that recognized the dinosaurs without any hesitation. Some of the names can get a little lengthy; what an awesome way for us to practise our phonics while having a blast.
The next step to our project was to select the colours of paint we felt best suited our dino friends.  With sponges in hand, we gripped and squeezed our colours into place.  What a great way to start off the morning, and our week!
