Class 1 - Practising Print

Class one has been practicing their pre writing skills in preparation for our upcoming school year. We focused on making straight lines first. We used a chalkboard and sang a song which helped us write straight lines. Then, we all had a turn writing our own straight lines on the chalkboard. Finally, we got our own paper, traced some straight lines and made our own.

Practicing our pre writing skills helps us improve directionality, fine motor skills and pre literacy skills. We can't wait to learn more!
