Class 1 - Sensory Exploration

Today we used our imaginations to create something from play dough. Some friends made cake, others made cars, dinosaurs, shoes and rings! We used our tools to make different shapes and sizes. We received some new playdough this morning; so we took the opportunity to compare the new and old dough.  The new playdough was smooth and soft; whereas the old playdough felt rough and brittle.
We took turns bending and shaping, seeing which we liked best.

It's always best to have fun while learning with your friends. Our activity helped us improve our imaginative, social, conversation and fine motor skills!

Elect 1.1 peer group entry skills, 3.4 conversing with peers and adults, 3.6 listening to others, 4.3 representations, 5.3 fine motor
