Today we decided to challenge ourselves to a tricky fine motor task. We used yarn to sew around the edges of our snowflakes. This was quite difficult because the end of the yarn was all floppy, and as we worked the individual fibers stared to come apart - But we didn't give up! We concentrated on using our pincer grips to manipulate the fiddly end of the yarn, while holding the snowflake steady with our other hand as we lined up the yarn-end to poke it through the hole. We think our sewing looks pretty cool (get it?!), have a look for them on our front windows!
