In preparation for the upcoming March holidays, Class 3 began creating their 3D artwork. We decided to craft bunnies, and decorate them with a St Patrick's Day theme. Each student painted a paper towel roll with grey paint, and a paper plate stand with green paint. We decorated the paper plate with tissue paper to resemble grass and flowers. Lastly, we added clover stickers, a pot of gold and even a little rainbow! The students enjoyed glueing on a colourful pompom for the nose, a fuzzy cotton ball tail, and drew on a smiley face. After our bunnies were complete, the children enjoyed playing with them and pretending they were hopping. Great job Class 3! We can't wait to share our art with our families and the rest of the school.
