Class 5 - Winter Wonderlands

This week Class Five created there very own winter wonderlands. They
did this by envisioning a beautiful winter landscape and used there
creativity to express it through art! This was a working process for
all of us as we took steps to finalize our work. We first started by painting our background. Class five decided blue  would be a great choice. We used spongey brushes and dabbed our paint onto white paper to create a fluffy texture. Once our background was complete, we then began cutting out snow flakes and glued them to the top of our paintings to create the illusion of snowflakes falling from the sky!  At the very bottom of our painting we glued on tissue paper and
sparkly fabric to represent our fallen snow. We then dazzle up our winter wonderlands by sprinkling "fairy dust" also known as sparkles all over! We finalized our work by painting snow trees. We can't wait for you to see them on display! Great job class five!
