Today, Class 5 lightened up LFLF with holiday spirit as we designed
our very own candle reefs! We first started by gathering the supplies
needed for this mini art project. In the centre of our table we put 2
cups of green paint and spongy paint brushes for all our friends!
Everyone got their own paper plate with a hole cut out in the centre
to represent our reefs. Once all the supplies were within close reach,
we then began painting our reefs green. After our reefs were painted
green, we began sprinkling sparkles to glam them up! To add a pop of
colour we glued on our "red cranberries" and a holiday bow tie! Once
the outside of our reefs were complete, we then cut out and glued our
candles together! Class five finalized their holiday reefs by gluing
their candles on to them! Overall, this was a fun art project for us
and we are so excited for you to see them at home!
