Class 5's green thumbs

This morning class five found some potted plants waiting in the playground- so we decided to transplant them into the garden bed! After our teacher dug some holes we all helped carefully place the roots of the plants into the earth, then we gently patted the soil back around them.
It was a hot morning, so we also gave our plants a nice drink of water to help them settle in.

We can't wait to watch them grow!
