Class 3's awesome games

Last week when the weather was so nice and warm class 3 enjoyed inventing some new games to play outside! One friend became the ice cream man and he guided his ice cream car around the playground getting everyone involved in his game by selling them ice cream! It takes lots of imagination and communication skills to start a new dramatic game and ask your friends to join in (Elect: 1.8, 3.4)
Two friends blocked off a small space for them selves so they could practice throwing and catching. Instead of using a ball they chose the soft floating boards. They practised throwing them gently and safely to each other. It takes lots of communication and problem solving skills to set up this type of cooperative play.(Elect: 1.6, 3.4). I can't wait to see what other games we can come up with!
