Pre K - Phonemic Fun

We have been having a lot of fun learning in our Pre K class. One of our favourite ways to practice our phonics and letter recognition is to play games! We put some blocks on the floor in front of us, and we all took turns picking the correct block! Our teacher would ask us a question such as: "What sound does the word 'ball' start with? Can you find the letter?" We all practiced making the first sound and we also helped each other if we were stuck! We practiced our social skills as we waited patiently for our turns, and worked on our team work skills as we helped each other.
