Mini Pre K

This month our theme is Fairy Tales and this week we concentrated on the classic "The Three Little Pigs". Our Preschoolers made creative paintings and collages today using different sensory materials such as petals and feathers. The gluing and manipulation of these materials helps improve their Fine Motor skills. For the second part of our Visual Arts class we painted a wooden house for our three little pig caricatures (Made from clay yesterday). The Preschoolers had to work together to create and paint a wooden house. They interacted positively and co-operatively while sharing the paints and brushes. This activity also fostered their representation skills because they were able to help construct a 3D model. It was a great activity all around!
