Class 1 - exploring print

Today, class 1 did a great job in our circle, literacy, math and art. As a reward we got to do something we love to do. We all decided to read books together! We all had our own book, sat on a spot and read independently. We tried taking clues from the pictures to tell stories to our friends- it was so much fun!

Reading books together is a fun way to learn and interact with friends. It helps us explore our imagination and communication skills, and helps us develop mental schemas about text conventions.
