Class 1- Giant Tower Lego

This morning in class 1, we started off the morning with some focused play activity while using the giant lego blocks! We used our imagination and fine motor skills to build tall towers and make them into castles! We made sure that we all shared the blocks and even worked together to make the giant tower!
What a great way to start off the week!

Our friends took out their favourite colour, yoga mat and put it on the floor, for some Independent reading time. The "Papa Pig" story seemed to be a favourite book  among the friends, we took turns all shared this book with each others. What a great time for our friends to relax. Great job friends.

We then made the crown and glued it along the top with some googly eyes, a tongue made of ribbon and from that our snakes were ready to go. Happy Chinese New Year!

All of the friends of LFLF celebrated Chinese New Year today with Dragon Dancing, Story telling, 3D Rooster Crafts along with creating their very own masks for this wonderful day. Since this year is the year of the Rooster, we wanted the children to fit lots of Rooster crafts into their schedules. All of the friends enjoyed the creative celebration, and look forward to talking about it for days to come with their parents and friends.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!
