Our LFLF Friends' Fall Trees

Today some of our Pre-K's combined with some of our Class 5 friends in Circle and Art Time to welcome Fall! We created our very own unique Fall trees. We started by discussing the changing colours of the leaves on trees when Fall arrives, such as red, orange, yellow and even brown. Then we gathered all the colours together on trays and began painting our tree trunks using brown paint. Once our trunk was painted and dried, we then used q-tips to create our textured branches. Around our branches and tree, we even dotted the fall colours to represent the leaves floating down through the air as they fall from the branches. We finished our task by sharing our art work with our friends. Beautiful work, my friends!
