Class 3/5 science Experiment- What's inside?

This week our friends here at LFLF took part in a super cool science experiment! We each took turns in hypothesizing what might be inside the colourful capsules. We started by each sharing our ideas of what might be inside and using our sharing skills to pass the capsules to each other. Once we all had the chance to examine the capsules we then filled cups up with warm water and placed the capsules inside. That's when we used our observational skills to observe and make note of what we thought was happening. We noticed that the capsules were slowly dissolving in the warm water. We also noticed that the capsules seemed to be getting larger after 2 minutes of soaking. After 10 minutes our capsules came to life! We discovered a star and a ornament! This science experiment was a blast as it turned out to be an exciting surprise! We can't wait to try it again next time!
