Class 4 - Sensory Play

Today, our friends in Class four engaged in a new science and sensory exploration activity! We had the opportunity of exploring materials such as shells, fall leaves, insects and grass. We asked questions such as "Where did the shells come from?" and "Why are the leaves dry?" We also made observations regarding the texture and sounds the materials were making. We made observations such as "This shall feels rough on one side and soft on the other side" and "The leaves make a crinkly sound when we press them." We also had fun lining the shells up alongside the science him and counting how many shells we had. We counted a total of 29 shells!
