Class 1 - puppet show

Class one is very fortunate to have a puppet theatre in our room. After a great circle, we decided to use puppets and enhance our puppetry skills. Everyone had a turn of their own to grab a puppet and do a show for a few minutes. Some friends decided to have puppet and others had two. Our friends started the show by saying "once upon a time" and introduced the names of the puppets. Some of the names were all made up and others are names or their baby sisters at home. We talked about how our puppets can fly, swim, make friends and sing. We ended our show by making our puppets bow and clapping our hands for appreciation.
It is so much fun to do puppetry as it enhances our fine motor, audience, puppetry and imaginative skills. Great job class 1!
