Class 2- Remembrance Day Poppies

As we all know, Remembrance Day just passed this past Friday. As a recap, today Class 2 reviewed the importance of a Poppy and how it is worn in remembrance of the people who truly cared for our country. Furthermore, we used our senses to create our Poppy by feeling and gently placing our soft cotton balls to design our Poppy. We also recognized what colours we needed to use in order to make our Poppy. The colours we used were red, black and green. We are very proud of our poppies, just as we are very proud of the people that we remember on Remembrance Day that allow us to be proud to be Canadian! We stand united not only as Class 2, but as a whole at LFLF!

Elect:
2.6 positive attitudes towards learning
4.5 observing
5.3 senses
5.2 fine motor
