Class 5: Non standard units of measurement

This morning when we were playing with our blocks,  one of our friends asked how many blocks would it take to go around my foot? We decided this sounded like a great experiment so we all started to make a trail of blocks around our feet. Then we counted how many blocks were around our foot. After we did this another friend wondered how many blocks would it take to make a line across our classroom. The answer was a lot!
