This morning we used our math manipulatives to explore groups of ten and base ten concepts. We each counted out a group of ten blocks and then used the groups to count in tens. We discussed how to count in tens, how to group them in groups of same, more or less and even counted out 100 blocks! We then went to the tables and wrote out our number line in tens and finished off our math time with a block tower building competition.
